Light Encinitas Prayer Room

A Place for His Presence

A resting place for the presence of God in Encinitas. We are building a space where we can slow down, worship Jesus, pray, and simply be with Him.

He comes where He is wanted.

Why a Prayer Room?

We believe God is worthy of a resting place.

The Prayer Room is a space set apart to minister to the Lord through worship and prayer, and to become a people who are formed by His presence — a place where we learn to slow down, turn our attention toward Jesus, respond to the Holy Spirit, and carry a lifestyle of prayer and worship into our everyday lives.

“One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD…”
Psalm 27:4

A People Around His Presence

We want to be a people who gather around Him — who prioritize His presence through continual worship and prayer, who know how to be with God, who are responsive to the Holy Spirit, and who minister to the Lord.

The Prayer Room is a place for:

His Presence
A sustained focus on the presence of God.

Worship + Prayer
A space for extended, unhurried worship and prayer.

Formation
Learning to live with an awareness of God and respond to Him in everyday life.

Ministering to the Lord

We believe the Prayer Room is a set-apart place to minister to the Lord. To minister to the Lord is to:

Focus our attention on Him
Love Him through worship and adoration
Tell Him who He is
Give Him honor and praise
Join the worship of heaven
Sit at His feet and attend to Him

Everyone Is Invited In

You Are a Royal Priesthood

We aren't building a room where a few people minister while everyone else watches. We want to become a people who minister to the Lord together. You don't have to be a worship leader or a prayer leader.

Come pray. Come worship. Come listen. Come respond. Come sit at His feet.

Through Jesus, we all have access to God, and we are all invited to participate.

“You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood…”
1 Peter 2:9
