Kids matter at Light Church! From this community's beginning we have been committed to providing world class care, uncompromised safety and intentional training and development in the way of Jesus. It is our promise to you to care for your children in such way that allows you to feel safe and secure as a parent and for you children to thrive in a fun and engaging environment.
For any questions you may have please contact us. We would love to talk with you!
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
We believe that following Jesus happens within the context of community. Open Tables are a time for people to gather in their neighborhoods, around the table and practice the way of Jesus together. We do this by focusing on three values that can present themselves in different ways depending on the group:
• Community [Hospitality, Fun, Food, Welcome]
• Discipleship [Lectio Divina Journals, Prayer, Bible Study, Book Study]
• Mission [Outward Focused, Collectively Addressing Needs]
Jesus says that “man can not live on bread alone but on every mouth that proceeds from the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4. Reading Scripture is transformative and one tool that we use is called the Lectio Divina Journal. There are different groups meeting throughout the county, on different days at different locations to meet and read the Scriptures together.
As much as we love and value our Sunday gatherings we recognize that there are different areas in our lives that need growth and attention. Workshops are gatherings that meet periodically in smaller settings to learn and grow together.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
